Spilled Milk...

I didn't cry... but I just stared at it for awhile. Then laughed! :) After all, there's no use crying over... well, you know. And it was MY fault. I put the glass on the counter to refill it for Noah, and then knocked it over while opening the fridge. This pretty much sums up the last month of my life.

Noah's Daddy...

Happy Father's Day, Kev :) Your little boy is your biggest fan, just so you know. The following are some of my favorite phrases as heard throughout the day by Little Dude to his daddy:

"Doo Doo, Dad-Dee" (Thank you, Daddy)

"Ask? Ask? Ask?" (He says this when I tell him he needs to ask for Daddy's permission... Usually to play with one of his games or his guitar)

"Yay Me!" (Self-explanatory)

"Nayk-ayd Beh-Bee!!!" (Naked Baby!!! He screams this as Kevin undresses him for potty time or jammie time)

"No... ME!" (Noah's way of disagreeing when you tell him something and then he explains that something belongs to HIM or it's actually HIS turn)

"Side.... Me.... Side" (He wants to go outside)

"Pee-Pee! Me... Yay!" (Again, not much to explain... hopefully)

"Oh-Kurt.... Ucky Sherms" (His request for yogurt and Lucky Charms for breakfast)

"Nigh Nigh... Uff You" (Night Night... Love you) ---> My favorite :)

We had the privelege of spending this Father's Day with Kevin's Dad and Mom here in Nebraska. I LOVE many generation pictures, especially of Smith Guys. Like Father, like son, like grandson... and Abbie. :)

I'll end with one of my all-time favorite pictures of Kevin and Noah. This was during the first week after we brought him home. A daddy at last:

"Uff You!"

Hellooooooooo Big Boy Bed

Noah spent his last night in his baby crib last Sunday! On Monday morning his Big Boy Bed was delivered in all its glory and we spent the day adding blankets, pillows and pillow cases, decorative pieces, guardrails, and an assortment of favorite toys to complete the set-up. Noah approved right away and had a good jumping session! The whole time I sang to him about the silly monkeys jumping on the bed... He could have cared less. :)

So the baby crib is packed away and that was the last of the baby stuff to go. I was sad to see it finally go, but just the week before Noah learned that he could climb out of his crib and that's the ball game. Plus, since it's a round crib, it was getting hard for him to stretch out his legs! Yes, there's no more baby in our little boy. He LOVES his new bed and looks forward to helping Mommy make it in the morning. We'll see just how long THAT lasts!

For some reason, I'm still having trouble loading videos on the blog. So we'll just stick with pictures for now. We'll work on the problem. :) Stay tuned.

Someone else approved of the new bed right away. Kevin and I are wondering if she will prefer to sleep with Noah at some point. They truly are best friends. :)

I need a nap,

Smartie Pants Cowboy

Check out Noah's new skills!!! I'm going to be posting a few videos one at a time... Apparently it's not in the stars for me to post them all in one blog entry. I've been seriously trying to do this for you for the past two days and it's just not working right now. So here is the first video!
