So... it's been a crazy CRAZY storm season thus far. We send our good thoughts and prayers to the people who have had everything taken from them by recent storms and tornadoes (Joplin, MO - Officially classified as an F5 tornado... Insane). And while we've had our fair share of scary moments, we are still blessed to be safe and sound here in Lincoln.
On a lighter note, one of the more interesting or quirky effects of these storms has been this montage of crazy BIRDS that dive and swerve and almost try to kill you while they seek flying insects after the rain. I'm not kidding. We take Abbie outside to go potty and we almost get taken OUT.... Abbie's fine. She's too close to the ground. :) But I still remember the look on Kev's face when he came in from his first encounter the other night. "Have you seen the birds???" he asked. Wow. How can you not go out and take a look-see? Yeah, crazy swallows.
So here's a little video that I took today after more rain. It really doesn't do the scene justice, but you get the idea.
Hitchcock dreamed of moments like this.... he he....

Wow! That's really insane!! It's almost as if they are playing "Angry Birds" and instead of pigs there are insects. It's freakish!
I HATE birds... they really creep me out! I have chills just reading this!
