So, here's the video from the 4th of July that I really wanted to post. Kevin is a magician with a temperamental computer. :) He convinced the conversion software to start working again, so here it is!
NOTE: No, we do NOT usually use our creme brulee torch when lighting fireworks. But since our lighter was acting up due to local strong breezes, we improvised.

Two things. One - you guys look intense with a TORCH to light your sparklers. Two - I was just thinking, whose idea was it to invent sparklers? I can picture it now "I know, let's set sticks on fire and then we can wave the flaming sticks all over the place for entertainment." "I like it, and let's give them to lots of little kids who are still learning to control their body movements." "I see no flaws in this."
I quite like the idea of brulee-ing your sparklers. Ingenious, I say! :)
